In addition to our top-notch Quality professionals, we have technical savvy volunteers from all areas, shifts and crafts of our company that make up our teams.  During our quest for ISO 9000, these volunteers exceeded 10% of our workforce allowing us to obtain certification in about a year.  Once achieved, these teams were transformed into Continuous Improvement Teams to maintain compliance to the Quality Certification Standards.

 

 

We worked very closely with the local community college system to conduct accredited training and to offer guidance.  Each team member acquired an average of 500 continuing education hours within one year.

Our teams perform two major tasks:  Implementation and Auditing.  This is a continuous improvement cycle where teams will work closely with each employee to establish, document and implement policies, procedures and instructions.  Once in the system and in effect, the audit teams will verify compliance.  Any nonconforming issues will be sent to QA and the originators, who were involved in the review and approval process, to develop effective corrective and preventive actions not to allow recurrence.
